Types of Massage
Which type is right for you? Ask your Chiropractor or Massage Therapist, and they will recommend a series of methods customised for your problems.
- Deep tissue/ X-Friction
A firmer method that probes to deeper layers of muscle that often requires working across the fibres.
- Cupping
People use cupping for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. - Lymphatic Drainage
A gentle, non-invasive therapy considered useful. - Muscle Energy Techniques
This group of methods changes muscle set-points by utilising known neurological pathways - Pre-natal Massage
